Travel by bicycle and it is soon clear that despite what the media might tell us, and what our own fears would have us believe, the world is full of ordinary people, just like you and me, trying to make their way in life.
Street photography expands my experience of exploring the world slowly by bicycle. Collectively I feel that all these little moments in time, unforced and unexpected, simultaneously show the cultural differences that make the world such an interesting place, as well as illustrating our common humanity. The images here were taken while cycling through some favourite, mostly high, places such as the Andes and Himalaya.
